A COMPLETE BOLLYWOOD HERO

So many fell in love with Hrithik at first sight. The guy is not only a superb actor but also cute. He has been compared with the three khans and his movie actually faced competition with 2 of the khans. To everybody's surprise, Hrithik excelled to number 1 position at the box office in January facing tough competition with reliable Aamir Khan's Mela and Box Office favorite Shah Rukh's Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. After a drop to #2 position in the second week, Hrithik swiftly reclaimed his #1 position at the Box Office with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, his VERY FIRST FILM as an adult and in the lead, Hrithik kicked SRK/Juhi starrer PBDHH to #2 and Aamir's Mela was nowhere in the top 4! Kaho Naa... pyaar hai has now been declared a superhit with Hrithik woeing fans all over the world!

So what about the 3rd Khan? If you ask Hrithik, he will tell you, Aamir is great and Shah Rukh is good but he looks up to his bhai, his bandhu, his fitness guru - the best looking hunk of Bollywood - Salman Khan! Hrithik and Salman share a bond. After all, the confidence he exudes on screen, Hrithik credits it to Salman and his tips - both on how to face the camera and how to woe ladies with huge biceps! Let's see if this understudy of Salman continues to set fire - both at the box office and in the fan's hearts.

His height will allow him to work with other good actresses who are unable to get roles today because of limited tall actors. Such actresses include Sushmita Sen, Shilpa Shetty, Pooja Batra and Tabbu.

Not a con, no weaknesses

Hrithik comes across as an intense actor. One has to wait and see how he would fair in a comedy. We also have to wait and see what he looks like in a "dhoti". I reckon he will look great in Anil Kapoor style dhoti's (Bulundi, Beta) but no one knows if he can be good in the usual white dhoti. In Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, Hrithik proved that he can act as good and even better opposite Shahrukh and Big B. His entry and dialogues were marvelous. "You are My Sonia" is another Hrithik's successor after "Ek Pal Ka Jeena". People have noticed the dance between Hrithik and Shahrukh in "Bole Chudiyan" and Hrithik proved who dances better and who looks good in Kurta Paijama (Pathani Suit). Way to go Hrithik !!!
